Candace Erin Penn is a Washington D.C native , began dancing at the early age of 3. She began formal training under Adrian Bolton, Kathy Smith and Sharon Mutts which afforded her the opportunity to perfect her craft. At the age of 8 an exclusive inviation to attend Duke Ellington School of the Arts “Tadpole” program under the direction of Lynn Welters after school. On weekends, she attended courses at Christian Dance Academy and First Class Dance Studio where she eventually was offered a teaching position at the youthful age of 12 . As her growth in dance improved, Ms. Penn sought out new challenges. She attended Duke Ellington school of the Arts High School for several semesters. During the summer of her sophomore year, CandaceErin was selected to attend Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles California. After her second year attending “ DADA” , CandaceErin relocates to L.A.

While residing in Los Angles CandaceErin Choreographed for the LA Sparks “Old Skool Krew” and Malibu High School Dance team. Also making appearances on “ That’s so Reven” and “8 Simple Rules.”CandaceErin later decided to go back to her roots in her home town of Washington DC.

Ms. Penn produced several productions and short dances for local high schools, middle schools and competitive cheer and dance team associations in the area. CandaceErin secured employment as the Artistic Director , dance instructor and choreographer for Christian Dance Academy . During that time she also worked with schools such as Clinton Christian, Dancing for His Glory Dance School, Excellence Christian School, First Class Dance Studio, Visions Performing Arts and Bishop McNamara developing and train students in ballet, modern, hip hop and African dance CandaceErin currently serves as a dance instructor and Elite Coach for ZD dance Academy. CandaceErin is looking forward to seeing where God will take her next .
